Side walls are the scars and reminders in the city of past and future stories that will take place in them. For this installation the side wall of an old abandoned building in the neighbourhood of Kreuzberg in Berlin was intervene with curtains on the existing metal structures of the chimneys. The intervention was meant to be seen from the surrounding house buildings where mostly families with turkish backgrounds live to create an 'eye to eye' communication.
