Vogelperspektive

Following the procession and video installation Bird's Perspective, the mobile projection device used during the project was presented as an autonomous installation at BÜRO für kuratorische Fürsorge und kollektives Experiment / Phase 2 at Q18 in Cologne.

The structure consisted of a generator, two projectors, four loudspeakers, prefabricated concrete supports and wooden beams. During the procession, these elements formed the technical infrastructure that carried moving images and sound through the city. Installed inside the gallery, the same structure became the work itself.

Separated from its original function, the projection device no longer produced images. Instead, it revealed the physical components that had made the event possible. The installation shifted attention from the projection to its supporting structure, exposing the material conditions behind the circulation of images in public space.
